It seems like forever ago one of Rochester's most famous and popular restaurants closed. Michael's Restaurant, on Broadway, had walls filled with pictures of the celebrities that dined there. Best known maybe as a superb steak house, I could always count on a perfect dinner. Families would save up to eat there on special occasions, that's how loved Michael's was.

Well, Michael's is back...but its this week only. And not at Michael's old location. You gotta drive a tich to get the M-Love in Historic Mantorville.  On their website, the Hubbell House announced...today thru the 19th is Michaels Week!

The Hubbell House is proud to this week offer a few family Greek specialties that were served at our former sister restaurant, Michaels. Chef Geroge Pappas of Michaels is now at the Hubbell House, and will be preparing the Michaelwich, Avgolemeno Soup and Garides Tourkolimino (Greek Shrimp).

PS - Mantorville has another great restaurant...The Old School Cafe. Check out my blog about their amazing breakfasts here.
