If you were at the show at US Bank Stadium, you already know that. If not, you missed a great show.  In fact, it was probably one of the best shows I've ever been to.

First, Volbeat rocked. Not only was it my first time seeing Metallica, it was my first time seeing Volbeat. They certainly didn't disappoint with a great set.

I had seen A7X quite a few times. There wasn't much of a change to their show. Just full on rockin', like they always do.

On to Metallica. As soon as I heard "Ecstasy of Gold" from "The Good, The Bad and the Ugly", I knew in just mere moments, 50,000 people were in for a treat. What made it even better for me was kicking off the show with "Creeping Death." It was if they read my dream journal. (No, I don't really have a dream journal) The first 8 or so songs were on my list of tunes I wanted to hear. Of course they were going to play the hits. The ones everyone knows but then they threw in "Leper Messiah" and totally blew me away.

All in all, I think everyone was happy. There were a few sound issues but other than that, a stellar show.

Plus, that show was the first time they played "Hardwired" to a crowd. Check it out.
