McDonald’s Dirty Menu Surprise Starts in Wisconsin—Will It Come to Minnesota?
Dick and Mac McDonald opened their burger restaurant in 1948, but it wasn’t until the mid-1950s when Ray Kroc entered the picture that the chain expanded from coast to coast. Today, there are over 40,000 McDonald's locations worldwide, but only a select few will get to try a new menu item launching soon.
The chain has a long history of introducing new products to boost traffic to stores. The McRib is the most famous, but they've also featured the McLobster, Donut Sticks, and various flavors of McFlurries. See other discontinued items at the bottom of this story.

McDonald’s Is Testing New Drinks, But Only in Two States
McDonald’s has announced new beverages arriving later this summer, but they’ll only be available in Wisconsin and Colorado.
According to a press release, the drinks will launch in those two states “and the surrounding areas,” so there’s a chance the eastern side of Minnesota might get a taste when the new lineup debuts on September 2.

What’s a Dirty Soda?
Dirty sodas were invented in Utah, where alcohol consumption is much lower.
They’re essentially mocktails made with soda, flavored syrups, and cream or half-and-half.
The version that went viral on TikTok combines Diet Coke, lime juice, coconut syrup, and half-and-half for a sweet, creamy twist on a soft drink.
