Man Accused of Threatening Mayo Clinic Medical Staff
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Hibbing man was arrested yesterday at St. Mary's Hospital after Rochester police responded to reports that he had become very aggressive toward medical personnel.
A police spokesperson says 28-year-old Christian Blaze Sanborn is accused of threatening to sexually assault nurses, cut up their bodies, and eat them.
It is also alleged that he threatened to mutilate the reproductive organ of another staff member. The arrest report note that Sanborn had made an instrument that looked like a "shank."
He was arrested on a felony terroristic threats charge, along with misdemeanor harassment and disorderly conduct charges. Court records show Sanborn has a lengthy criminal history in the Hibbing area that includes 5 felony convictions.
