Gather round the fire and grab a flashlight… it’s time for a scary story.

This might look like your average neighborhood playground… but some people say there’s something else going on here. And yeah… it’s not exactly comforting.

And no, I'm not talking a staged, jump-scare kind of creepy with actors hiding in the bushes. We’re talking about a legit haunted playground... or at least that's the rumor.

Did You Know There’s A Haunted Playground In Minnesota?

A playground in Long Lake has quietly built a reputation over the years as one of the more unsettling spots in the state.

According to multiple paranormal sites, including Haunted Places and Minnesota Haunted Houses, visitors have reported seeing a little girl wandering the park late at night.

The stories are oddly specific with most sightings said to happen around 2 am on Sunday nights.

If you get too close, she disappears... But, that’s where it takes a turn. Why?

Because she's not alone!

According to Only In Your State, there have also been sightings of a man believed to be her father, and let’s just say, he’s not exactly welcoming. The story goes that he becomes aggressive if anyone approaches.

No thank you. Chills yet?

If you’re curious, or feeling brave, this playground is located at Holbrook Park in Long Lake. During the day, it’s exactly what you’d expect - baseball fields, skating rinks, picnic areas… totally normal.

Which almost makes it creepier, because nothing about it looks haunted.
