Lots of holiday events will be kicking off next month around Minnesota. Yes, it's that time of year already. One of the big events is at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, which is part of the University of Minnesota and is located in Chanhassen.

Minnesota Landscape Arboretum Holiday Lights

Each year the arboretum decorates their grounds with a beautiful light display. I've only been once but it's pretty amazing. One of my favorites was the light-up flowers.

They also have a huge tree inside the main building made of poinsettias. And outside they serve hot chocolate and snacks to keep you cozy while exploring the display.

Adult-Only Nights at the Minnesota Arboretum Holiday Lights

Something that I believe is new this year is their adult-only nights. There will only be two of them this holiday season but they're calling them 'Date Nights'. It's a great way to get out with your significant other for a date night and leave the kids at home.

Both are happening on Thursdays, the first on Thursday, November 30th, and the last one on Thursday, December 14th. For both days the event runs from 5-10 PM.

You need to have a ticket to enter, and the tickets are on sale already. They're $40 per person if you are not a member of the arboretum. If you are a member, then it's $25 per person.

This is a great opportunity to set up a date night with your significant other and get to see an awesome light display at the same time!
