Hy-Vee Celebrating Customers with Free Food Event

Every year, USA Today invites its readers to vote for their favorite businesses in the 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards.’ In Southeast Minnesota, residents are especially familiar with two of the winning companies: Kwik Trip, which was named the best gas station, and Hy-Vee, which won for best grocery store.

To celebrate this recognition, Hy-Vee is hosting a customer appreciation event featuring free food on Saturday, October 5th. This event acknowledges the customers who voted for them to earn the top spot.

Aldi was voted the second-best grocery store in Minnesota, while Trader Joe's came in third. However, Hy-Vee took the top spot and is hosting a celebration for its customers.

Hy-Vee has been around for nearly 95 years and is known for its excellent service and dedication to quality, variety, and convenience.

The chain currently operates 280 stores across the midwest in states like Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wisconsin, and plans to expand further. Earlier this year, they announced they would acquire 22 new stores.

The grocery chain is holding a Customer Appreciation Grill Out from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 5th, where customers can enjoy a free burger or hot dog, chips, and water, while supplies last.
