DILL-icious or Disgusting? Where To Find Dill Pickle Ice Cream in Minnesota
If you're an average American you will eat approximately 20 pounds of ice cream each year, or about 4 gallons according to Census.gov.
That sounds like a lot, but we actually might eat more than the national average here in Minnesota. A recent study used data collected from Twitter and revealed that no other state loves the frozen dessert more than we do here in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.
Minnesota's favorite flavor of ice cream according to that study is Strawberry. Not surprisingly, chocolate and vanilla also ranked near the top.
Do you have a favorite flavor that you stick with or do you try something new each time? Your local ice cream shop and grocery store's freezer aisle is loaded with dozens of different options to pick from and starting next week you'll be able to try dill-pickle flavored ice cream.
