There's a new shop coming soon to Rochester, MN. I've never heard of something like this before, but I'm excited about it.

The place is called Morph Creative Reuse, and it's basically a thrift shop but for art and craft supplies. Great idea, right?

Where to Donate Used Art and Craft Supplies

We've all been there, we buy these craft supplies, use it once for a project, and then is sits in the back of your closet. You don't want to throw it out because it's perfectly good, but when are you going to use it again?

That's where Morph comes in. You can donate used art and craft supplies to their shop (which is a non-profit, by the way) and the supplies can get a new life.

I also really like this concept if you're wanting to try out a new hobby but you don't want to spend all the money on the supplies.

So, for example, I've been thinking about trying crocheting, and so instead of spending money on new items, I can just swing by Morph and grab some things to start myself off. Then, if I end up not liking it, it didn't cost me a ton and I can donate the items back to the store.

Morph Create Reuse in Rochester, MN

Morph is hosting their grand opening on Saturday, May 16th from 10 AM - 4 PM. After that, they're starting off with really limited hours. Someone on their Facebook page asked when they'll be open for regular hours and they said 'hopefully Saturdays in May/June to start'.

If you want to make donations you'll need to set something up on their website. They'll be located on 3rd Ave SE across from Bethel Lutheran Church, kind of by Brother's Bar and Grill and Snappy Stop.
