After 25 Years, Francesca’s Reportedly Shutting Down All Stores Including Rochester’s
After 25 years, a popular women's boutique chain is reportedly closing all locations in the United States. Sadly, several places are in Minnesota, including Rochester.

Several news outlets have verified that the women's boutique chain Francesca's will be closing all of its brick-and-mortar stores. Francesca's has been a mall staple since its launch in 1999, known for its trendy women's clothing, jewelry, and accessories.
TheStreet indicated in its latest report that the retailer is facing major financial trouble. Beyond the $250 million in unpaid invoices, it was shared that they also stopped communicating with their vendors. Yahoo!Finance reported that the merchants of this chain were all let go and without warning.
At this time, nothing has been posted on the Francesca's website. However, a company representative did confirm to Women's Wear Daily that the brand is currently “liquidating our inventory and closing soon.”
I read from multiple sources, including from PEOPLE magazine, who reached out to Francesca’s for comment but an immediate response was not provided.
