
22-Year-Old Dies After Water Incident at Winona County Lake
Winona, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Winona County Sheriff's Office responded Thursday evening to what officials are labeling a fatal water incident.
Apparent Drowning Reported Thursday Evening
A news release issued by the Sheriff's Office says a 911 call came in just before 8 p.m. indicating that a young man was missing in Airport Lake. Multiple public safety agencies responded to the scene and launched an immediate search.

Missing Man Found After 40 Minute Search
The Sheriff's Office says the missing man was located approximately 40 minutes later. Life-saving measures were attempted, but the 22-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim's name has not been released, and the incident remains under investigation.
