Waseca, MN (KROC--AM News) - The Waseca Fire Department held a news conference Monday afternoon to discuss the fast-moving wildfire that injured two firefighters and a resident on Sunday.

Officials say the fire was reported around noon on Sunday in a suburban area just east of Waseca. The tinder dry conditions combined with record warmth and winds gusting above 40 mph helped quickly spread the flames out of control.
