Threat Cancels Classes Monday at Rural Minnesota School
Grand Meadow, MN (KROC-AM News)- An apparent threat has led to the closure of a small school district in southeast Minnesota Monday.
Limited information is available, however an email informing parents and guardians of the cancellation was sent Sunday evening.
The threat was geared towards the Grand Meadow School District. Superintendent Paul Besel said he was advised that there was no immediate danger to the school on Monday.
The email says the decision to cancel was “based on the safety of the students and employees of Grand Meadow School.”

Details surrounding the nature of the threat have not been made public. Besel says he hopes to pass along more information regarding the school threat to district families on Monday.
