The victim told investigators she reported the alleged assault to an adult shortly after but was told no one would believe her, the complaint says.
In an interview with the adult, the woman told investigators she “thought they dealt with it.” She said the victim told her Meyer grabbed her leg and barked in her ear, according to the court document.
Meyer denied the accusation but told investigators he could not verify whether or not it happened and that he was intoxicated on the day of the alleged sex assault.
When an investigator asked Meyer if inappropriate touching could’ve happened he said, “I mean, it might have. I was intoxicated, and I don’t know, ” according to the complaint.
Meyer is being charged via summons. He’s due to make his first appearance in the case next year.
