Rochester Woman Sentenced For Pair of Significant Drug Busts

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester woman is being given a chance to stay out of prison after admitting to first-degree drug charges stemming from separate drug busts in the city last year.

38-year-old Jessica Ann Rudolph today entered guilty pleas to two counts of first-degree drug sales and was sentenced to five years on probation. She was also given an 85-month stayed prison term that she could be forced to serve if she fails to meet the terms of her probation.

The first drug bust occurred in February when the Rochester Police Department executed search warrants at two Rochester residences and recovered approximately 83 grams of methamphetamine, more than 50 oxycodone pills, 1.4 grams of M30 fentanyl pills, and nearly 500 grams of marijuana.

Court documents indicate authorities were able to obtain the search warrants after a man being held in the Olmsted County jail called Rudolph and asked her to move some drugs for him. The boyfriend, 47-year-old Jason Hameister was also charged in the case and is now participating in Olmsted County's Drug Court program.

The second charge against Rudolph was connected to a raid conducted by members of the Southeast Minnesota Violent Crimes Enforcement Team at the Day's Inn hotel along Commercial Drive Southwest in June. Rudolph and Hameister were in a hotel room where law enforcement officers seized about 164 grams of methamphetamine.
