Nolan was accused of pointing a gun at another motorist during a "rolling dispute" on South Broadway in January. The criminal complaint says it began when Nolan "brake checked" the other driver and the two men then exchanged offensive hand gestures.

Rochester police located Nolan and his vehicle in a parking lot near Apache Mall. The charges indicate investigators found a loaded 9 mm handgun with an extra magazine placed in the vehicle in a location accessible to the driver. They also found a realistic-looking Airsoft rifle in the backseat. Court documents say the trunk of his vehicle contained an uncased shotgun along with an assault-style rifle with a bayonet.
