Minnesota Hit-&-Run Victim Was Hit by County Plow Truck
Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News) - Minneapolis police say a man found dead on the street in northeast Minneapolis early Wednesday was struck by a Hennepin County plow truck.
The deadly incident was initially reported as a hit-and-run. It occurred around 2:30 AM on a street adjacent to a convenience store. Minneapolis police indicated that the responding officers reported the man was deceased and it was apparent he had been run over by a vehicle.
The preliminary investigation has determined the victim apparently walked in front of a slow-moving Hennepin County plow truck as it was leaving the gas station convenience store parking lot. Minneapolis police say the driver of the truck has been identified and is cooperating with the investigation.
The name of the victim has not been released.
