
Plane Makes Emergency Landing at Rochester Airport
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- An aircraft was forced to divert from its planned destination and make an emergency landing in Rochester.

Rochester International Airport Marketing Communications Manager Mary Gastner confirmed the aircraft made an emergency landing at the airport Tuesday morning.
Data from the Flight tracking website FlightAware indicates the plane touched down in Rochester shortly before 9:30 Tuesday morning.

Wisconsin-Bound Plane Carrying 7 People Makes Emergency Landing in Rochester, MN Tuesday Morning
FlightAware indicates a Beechcraft King Air 90, operated by Silverhawk Aviation, started the day flying from Lincoln, NE to Columbus, NE.
Upon completion of the 16-minute flight, the aircraft left the Columbus, NE airport for Stevens Point Airport in Central Wisconsin. It departed from Nebraska at 8:15 a.m.
Flight Aware indicates the plane diverted from its northeasterly heading and turned north towards Rochester when it was over the Minnesota-Iowa border shortly after 9 a.m. and began descending into Rochester two minutes later.
It touched down in Rochester at 9:26 a.m. Gastner said seven souls were on the plane and that the aircraft landed without incident.
Emergency radio transmissions regarding the Rochester Fire Department's response to the incident indicated the aircraft was experiencing problems with one of its engines.
