15 Dogs Seized During Animal Rescue Operation in SE Minnesota

Preston, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Fillmore County Sheriff's Office was involved in an animal rescue operation on Thursday.
Sergeant Dan Dornink, who is an investigator with the Sheriff's Office, says the Minnesota Animal Humane Society also participated in the execution of a search warrant at a property in southwest Fillmore County near Ostrander. A total of 15 dogs were removed from the property.
Sergeant Dornink says the dogs were transported to the Animal Humane Society's facility in Golden Valley. Information about the condition of the animals has not been released.
The situation remains under investigation. So far, no arrests have been reported and no charges have been filed.
