The charges against McCutchen say Mayo Clinic physicians found evidence of multiple rib fractures in various stages of healing, and a leg fracture. The medical report on the child states the injuries were "highly suggestive of non-accidental trauma.". The court document also states that imaging found multiple areas of bleeding on the brain, possibly due to "shaken baby syndrome."
