
Fire at Albert Lea Home Sends Two Children to Hospital
Albert Lea, MN (KROC-Am News) - Three people were transported to the hospital following a fire this morning in Albert Lea.
According to the Albert Lea Fire Department, the fire was reported just before 7 AM at a home in the 400 block of Maurice Avenue. Responding firefighters found flames showing on two sides of the home.

The occupants of the house relocated to a neighbor's home. The Fire Department says two children and an adult suffered from smoke inhalation and were transported to the Mayo Clinic Health System Hospital in Albert Lea for treatment.
The damage from the fire was estimated at around $30,000.
An investigator from the State Fire Marshal's Office was dispatched to assist the Albert Lea Fire Department in identifying the cause of the fire.
