Girl Scout cookie time of year is many people's favorite time of year.  You can either get those delicious boxes of cookies from your favorite Girl Scout, or when you are out and about.  Usually you will find Girl Scout troops selling those boxes of cookies in many entry ways of retail stores and grocery stores.  Pick up a couple of boxes, help the Girl Scouts and satisfy your sweet tooth.

THERE WILL BE NEW COOKIES INTRODUCED AGAIN THIS NEXT YEAR

Every year, there are cookies that are to be retired, and some that are introduced as new cookies.  Sometimes your favorites may be retired, which is kind of a bummer.  Usually there is still a flavor of cookie that you can turn to, plus there are the staples.  Like thin mints, samoas or caramel delights depending on where you are in the country.  And those yummy peanut butter patties.

This coming year, like many other years, two new cookies are being introduced.

Number 1:

The first addition is Girl Scout Sparkables, which are oatmeal cookies with chocolate chips and sprinkles. Developed with allergy-friendly cookie company Partake, they were created specifically for people with food allergies to avoid the nine major food allergens, while “giving families navigating the most common food allergies a way to feel more included during Girl Scout Cookie season,” Girl Scouts of the USA said in a statement.

Number 2:

The other new offering expands the culinary option to include man’s best friend. Patch Pals are soft-baked, blueberry muffin-flavored cookies for dogs. The treat was developed with dog-centric company BARK and intended to “celebrate the bond between people and their pups,”

SOMETHING NEW FOR YOU AND SOMETHING NEW FOR YOUR PUPPER

Yes, you read that correctly.  The second new cookie is a dog treat.  So, the Girl Scouts have something for people with allergy concerns and also something for your dog.  If you have a begger dog, like I do, this if perfect for them.

WHEN WILL THEY BE AVAILABLE TO ORDER

These cookies, being introduced for next year's sales, are only going to be available online.  However, it seems as though they will be available to order a little earlier than usual.  You can actully sign up now for notifications for when the cookies will be available to order, which officially will be on January 12th of next year.
