Have Dreams Of Being A Star? Minnesota + Wisconsin American Idol Audition Dates Announced
As the team at ABC gets ready for another season of the singing competition show American Idol, they're conducting a round of auditions to find the show's next contestants.
As they've done for the last few years now, they're conducting their "Idol Across America" virtual auditions once again. Kind of like the old-style on-location auditions, they designate specific dates for each state, and the date for both Minnesotans and Wisconsinites to try out is coming up fast!
When are the Minnesota and Wisconsin American Idol auditions?
Conveniently, they're actually being held on the same day! Regardless of which side of the border you live on, Friday, September 6 is the day to try out for American Idol this year.
Due to the virtual format of the "Idol Across America" auditions, they can cover a lot of ground in a short period of time. Minnesota, Wisconsin, and three other Midwestern states are all having their auditions held on the same day.
How do the American Idol virtual auditions work?
The Idol Across America auditions offer a couple of different ways to show your talent in your efforts to get on the show.
If you prefer to have some live (virtual) interaction, you can sign up for a live video chat on their website, which will be conducted via Zoom with a show producer. You select an available time and then you'll get an invite to the call for your audition time.
The other way to audition is by submitting a video recording via their website.
There are some eligibility requirements to be considered regardless of which method you prefer. You can learn more about the process, the eligibility requirements, and more here.
