Late Vikings Coach Bud Grant’s House For Sale – See Inside

Legendary Vikings coach Bud Grant had a hard-working, blue-collar attitude that was among his defining traits. Following his passing at the age of 95 back in March of this year, his Twin Cities residence has gone on the market.

Keeping in kind with his personality, you might not be shocked to learn that his home is a pretty modest house in comparison to the multi-million dollar homes big-name sports figures live in these days.

The house was home to Grant's famous garage sales, where he sold fishing and hunting gear, Vikings and NFL memorabilia, and other odds and ends. Bud held his final garage sale at the Bloomington home in May of 2017, joking with members of the media that he had "run out of stuff to sell". The final year of his garage sale, he offered custom bobblehead dolls as a hook to get people to come.

He told NBC Sports "You can't just say, 'Come to my garage sale and buy baby clothes.'"

The home, located near SE Anderson Lake (nor far from the 169-494 intersection), is referred to by the listing agent as an "expansive hilltop rambler" with over 2,600 square feet on a 3/4 acre lot.

The single-level home was built in 1962, which is one year after the Minnesota Vikings became an NFL franchise.
