All Aboard! The Holiday Train is Rolling Through Minnesota – Here’s Where to See it
Once Halloween comes and goes, it's full-steam ahead towards Thanksgiving and Christmas, and with that comes plenty of fun holiday events, including this giant one on wheels.
Canadian Pacific Kansas City railroad is once again hitting the tracks with their popular Holiday Train, this will be their 26th year, and the train has many scheduled stops in the Midwest.

The CPKC Holiday Train not only brings lots of holiday cheer to each stop of the tour, but they are also raising money and food to support food banks along the route. Since 1999, nearly $25 million has been raised and just over 5 million pounds of food has been collected.
The decorated train starts its tour on November 21st in Maine and makes its way through several states including New York, Illinois, Iowa and Missouri, before making its way to Sturtevant, Wisconsin on December 7th.
The Holiday Train makes a handful of stops in Wisconsin between December 7th and December 9th, stops include Watertown, Wisconsin Dells, and La Crosse, among several others.
The train will make its first appearance in Minnesota on December 10th with an afternoon stop in La Crescent, Minnesota, and ending the day in Hastings. December 11th, the train will make stops in Cottage Grove, and at St. Paul's Union Depot.
The holiday cheer will continue on the 12th with additional stops in the Twin Cities, including Golden Valley, St. Louis Park and ending the day in Minneapolis.
The Holiday Train will continue with more stops around Minnesota between December 14th and 16th, notable stops include Buffalo, Glenwood, Alexandria, and the final stop in Minnesota will in Thief River Falls.
Many of the stops will include live music from the Holiday Train stage, artist on the tour include American Authors, KT Tunstall, Magic, and others. Tiera Kennedy and The Lone Bellow will be on the stops in Wisconsin and Minnesota. You can see the full list of stops and times here.
