Red Lobster Abruptly Closes More Minnesota Locations
So it continues. Red Lobster is closing even more locations across the nation, and that includes an additional location in Minnesota.
This makes me really want a cheddar bay biscuit. For some background, it's been a rough few months for the seafood chain.
A few months ago, they abruptly closed a bunch of locations nationwide, nearly 90 to be exact. At that time, only a handful of stores closed in Wisconsin and Minnesota was spared.
That changed shortly after, when a few Minnesota locations were seemingly on the chopping block. Red Lobster has been struggling with competition, lease prices at certain locations and the aftermath of their endless shrimp promotion.
Another Minnesota Location Closing
Previously, it was revealed that Red Lobster locations in Golden Valley and Bloomington would be closing.
While the Golden Valley location has already closed, there has been a change of heart regarding the latter and it remains open.

However, an updated list of Red Lobster closures has been released and it now includes another Minnesota location in Maple Grove.
That location is 12515 Elm Creek Boulevard. As of now, the website states that it is closed. No more Red Lobster locations in Wisconsin are set to close at this time.
The good news is that are still several Red Lobster locations in Minnesota, including the one in Duluth! You can still get the delicious biscuits we all dream about.
