"Operating as an apple orchard for 25 years, the property boasts over 6000 trees, two septic tanks, three wells, tillable and pasture land," the listing states.
A 3-bedroom, 3-bath, 3,125-square-foot home built in 1997 sits on a 61.64-acre lot.
"The home offers... a cherry cabinetry and Corian countertop kitchen, vaulted ceilings, and a wood stone fireplace," the listing description continues. (see photos of the inside of the house below)
The property also includes a 6,300-square-foot retail building and a separate 2,400-square-foot storage shed.
The listing says, "The retail building includes a storefront, walk-in cooler, cider room, and ample storage space."
According to their website, the Applewood Orchard was started by Mark and Kathy Parranto as a retirement hobby farm in 1995 with 1500 trees, but quickly grew to be a full-time job, now with more than 9,000 apple trees of 16 varieties.
The orchard currently has a Google review rating of 4.3 out of 5 stars with 277 reviews, some describing great experiences, and others not so much.
Looking at the photos and reading some reviews, as far as orchards open to the public go, it seems to be on the smaller side without a lot of the extras some bigger apple orchards have, an aspect some find endearing.
For what it's worth, there are several scathing reviews regarding the behavior of employees and possibly even the owner, which is something a new owner might have to overcome.
