A recent Ice Cream survey conducted by YouGov revealed that our country loves the classics. Nearly 20,000 Americans completed the survey and the results show chocolate was the most popular flavor with Vanilla coming in a close second.

In 1984, President Ronald Reagan declared July National Ice Cream Month and asked the American people to celebrate with "appropriate ceremonies and activities." I can't think of any ice cream related ceremonies or activities but I do know that taking my family for a treat is really fun. I also know that Coldstone has an incredible half-off deal right now.  To celebrate National Ice Cream month you can get a $25 gift certificate good at the Coldstone Creamery on Broadway and the one located on Marketplace Dr. in Rochester for only $12.50. The International Dairy Foods Association says,  "Americans consume about 23 gallons of ice cream each year, on average. In 2017, about 1.4 billion gallons of ice cream and related frozen desserts were produced in the United States."

Did you know Coldstone's ice cream is made fresh in every store? They use the best ingredients to make their ice cream and then you get to go to town mixing in all of your favorites like candy, cakes, fruits or nuts. And if you haven't tried their ice cream cupcakes, you should - They're amazing!
