Is it just me, or has it been a pretty low-key winter in Southeast Minnesota so far? Despite everyone up north getting a barrage of snowfall last week, it rained here. Even looking outside my window, I'm just seeing a little snow . And you're telling me this is January?!

The crazy thing? It's only going to get better.

According to the National Weather Service, we should be expecting warmer weather this weekend, with temperatures in the low-to-mid 40s. Don't be surprised to see that snow in your backyard start to melt by Friday. And get ready for a 100% chance of seeing some random dude wearing shorts walking downtown.

But don't get too comfortable, because we could be getting some more snow by Monday. But...you know how that works.

Quick side note? You know you're from Minnesota when 40 degree weather in January somehow feels like a beautiful day in March or April. And yet I'm freezing when it's 60 degrees in June. It's weird how that works out, no?
