Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man was arrested on suspicion of driving while impaired Thursday - at 9 in the morning.

Police Capt. Casey Moilanen says 21-year-old Athai Muon rear-ended an SUV at the intersection of S. Broadway and 12th St. Muon told an officer he fell asleep at the wheel after being up all night “playing video games.” He also said he had smoked marijuana “very recently.”

Moilanen says after failing a field sobriety test, Muon was arrested. And that’s when he got into more trouble.

During a search at the county jail, a bag containing marijuana, Xanax and suspected cocaine was found in his underwear.
