This series follows the Wisconsin case of Steven Avery. Originally, Avery was found guilty of raping a woman and spent 18 years in prison for that crime which he was later exonerated when the DNA had been linked to another man. Then, just two years later, he and his nephew are in prison for allegedly murdering another woman.    I think I'm only about 6 episodes in (There's 10 total) and I'm torn. I remember seeing this case all over the news when we lived in Wisconsin. I thought, well, here's a guy that was set to receive a HUGE pay out from the county for wrongful imprisonment and he goes and kills a woman. Immediately, I thought he was guilty. But after seeing "Making a Murderer", I'm not so sure.

I'm no law expert, but it seems after seeing this documentary, there was enough of a reasonable doubt to find Avery not guilty. My theory is the 2 cops who investigated Avery in both instances, may know a little more than they're saying (wink wink) But again, that's just my opinion.

Check out the series, if you haven't already. It's worth a binge watch.

Have you seen the series? And if so, what do you think?
