Remember those commercial that pushed compilation discs? They're still a thing, apparently. Years ago, before the internet, you couldn't escape commercials like this. Whether it was for Time Life books about Vietnam or Columbia House Records where you could get 13 albums for a penny.

You had to sign up for some club though, where you would get a different album once a month for a year. If you didn't like the album, you could return...by mail. Ugh. So you had to physically send it back...in an envelope. Forget about it.

It surprises me that these are still on the air. Don't get me wrong, it was a great collection of classic rock tunes but, pfft. I can get that for free. Anyone can, with a little searching.

And if you grew up in the 80's, you probably saw this commercial a million times.
