How Minnesotans Can Make DIY Mosquito Lawn Spray Using Beer
Summer might be winding down in Minnesota, but those annoying, blood-sucking mosquitoes are definitely still doing everything they can to ruin your backyard bonfires and barbecues. There are plenty of ways to combat the skeets in your neighborhood, but I just stumbled upon a new way to keep those pests from terrorizing your yard - and this one involves beer! Even better, this DIY mosquito lawn spray has ingredients that many of us already have lying around the house:
If you don't want to watch the video, here's a quick cheater's guide to making DIY mosquito lawn spray:
(Mix the following ingredients together in a spray can)
1/2 cup of ammonia
1/2 cup of mouthwash
1/4 - 1/2 cup of regular detergent
1 can of soda
1 12 oz. bottle of beer
Attach the spray can to your garden hose and go wild! Whether this is worth sacrificing a beer, however, is completely up to you.
