House Fire In Northeast Rochester

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A northeast Rochester house was damaged by a fire Saturday.
Crews were called to the home in the 1600 block of 2nd Ave NE behind the Silver Lake Shopping Center around 3:00 pm.
When they arrived they found “flames coming from both windows of an upstairs bedroom” of the two-story residence.
The Rochester Fire Dept. reports there was significant damage from smoke, fire, and water to the upstairs level. There was also some water damage to the main floor and basement.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
