Minnesota already hosted to a ton of big-name Hollywood stars back in February during Super Bowl LII, and now some big names are headed back to our state this fall.

It's all because of the Twin Cities Film Fest, which runs October 17th through the 27th at the ShowPlace ICON Theatre at the West End in St. Louis Park (about an hour and a half from Rochester, via Highway-52, the Crosstown and Highway-100). And there are definitely some names you'll recognize scheduled to be there.

According to BringMeTheNews, the Twin Cities Film Fest is currently in its 9th year and will feature appearances by Jon "Napoleon Dynamite" star Jon Heder, "Scream" actor David Arquette, and comedy actor Tom Arnold.

That's in addition to Minnesota native, Steve Zahn, (he's originally from Marshall) who was recently honored by the Twin Cities Film Fest with its Lifetime Achievement Award during its Fall Gala.

I've not been to the event yet, but it looks pretty cool. It's set up as a way to spotlight and support independent Minnesota filmmakers and their films. The TCFF website says, "The high caliber film talent found in Minnesota deserves a nationally visible platform.  TCFF is dedicated to the cultivation of local filmmakers by providing educational resources to expand skill sets, networking with the national film industry, and nurturing distribution opportunities."

You can get more information about the various films scheduled to be screened at this year's TCFF HERE.
