Jim Cooley is a guy that apparently likes to stir sh*t up. He decided to take his AR-15 for a walk...through the airport in Atlanta. And the only reason he probably did it was because he could. THIS drives me insane.   Don't get me wrong. I'm all for gun ownership. I have ZERO problem with someone carrying a weapon in order to protect themselves, their loved ones, bystanders or their belongings. If you break into my house looking to rob me and my own and my family's safety were at risk, I'm probably gonna shoot you in the face.

What I DON'T like, is someone like Jim Cooley who, for no reason whatsoever, that I could see, decided to bring an AR-15 and walk through the airport with it just so he can mouth off to security and police about how it's "the law" and "his right to do so." And yes, it IS his right to do so but WHY do it, Jim? Why draw attention to yourself? So you can make a stupid video of how you schooled the police and security about the law?

If I'm walking through an airport and I see a guy carrying an AR-15, I'd probably freak out a little too and if I were a police officer or airport security in that situation, I would certainly ask questions. The LAW, Jimbo, is that YES, they CAN ask you questions...whether you answer them or not, is entirely up to you.

Check out a series of videos below and see what you think. I especially like his quote "People's fear is not my responsibility." What an idiot. This guy gives sane, reasonable gun owners a bad name.
