Another night of protests, riots, and fires happened across the Twin Cities Friday night.

A Google Maps user has created a map detailing where all the major events are happening across the Twin Cities area including protests, destroyed businesses, fire damage, property damage/looting, closed roads, and events like organized cleanups.

As of Saturday morning at the time of publication of this article, there were over 240 key locations tagged on this map, over 50 closed streets, and over 68 fires.

Protests over the murder of George Floyd continue to escalate and as a result, Governor Walz is taking steps that have not been made since WWII.

After previously activating 1,700 Minnesota National Guard members, Walz is fully mobilizing the guard for the first time since World War II and tapping into all state resources including those of the Department of Public Safety and Minnesota State Patrol.

Stay safe everyone. Check on your friends and family that live in these areas, and continue to show love and compassion where you can. As Thomas Rhett says, "in a world full of hate be a light".
