Thief Steals $70,000 of Bull Semen From Farm [Video]

Why would someone want to steal $70,000 worth of bull semen?

That's what authorities are asking in Mower County, Minn., where someone stole canisters -- that resembled jugs of milk -- full of bull semen worth thousands of dollars each from a Leroy farm, Eden Prairie's KMSP-TV reported.

No one really knows what the thieves will do with their yield, considering it's a little hard to find a fence willing to take stolen animal semen.

Authorities believe it might be an inside job, claiming the thief would have had to have knowledge the semen was stored in an unlocked barn and what its value could be.

What ever happened to good, old-fashioned bank robberies?
