Fozzy Return With Gritty Rocker ‘Nowhere to Run’
2020 can't get here soon enough, but Fozzy are giving fans a taste of what's to come. The band just unleashed the new single "Nowhere to Run" from their forthcoming album 2020, which is expected to arrive in spring of next year.
Fozzy are coming off arguably the strongest album of their career, 2017's Judas, and their new track is a positive sign that they're keeping the momentum going.
The track is a strong statement right out of the gate, filled with aggressive gritty guitars to open the song before giving way to more dreamily melodic verses and a defiant, anthemic chorus. Take a listen in the player at the bottom of this post.
Fozzy fans might want to keep an ear out for the song in the live setting. A new tour leg starts for the band on Sept. 5 in Denver, as Fozzy will be taking out Jared James Nichols for dates primarily across the western U.S. (thus the "Unleashed in the West" tour moniker). Sons of Texas will also join the bill for select dates. Get ticketing info and see the full itinerary here.
