Former Minneapolis Cop Sentenced For Assault Conviction
Minneapolis (KROC AM News) - A former Minneapolis police officer who was convicted of kicking a man in the head has been sentenced to a county workhouse for 6 months. A Hennepin County judge has also placed 37-year-old Christopher Reiter on probation for three years and take no job with any law enforcement or security agencies. Reiter has also been ordered to attend anger management classes.
He was convicted in October of third-degree assault. The man he kicked suffered a traumatic brain injury. Reiter was fired after the incident.
