Rochester Salvation Army

When it's not the Season of Covid, the Rochester Salvation Army Food Shelf serves 550 households and is open twice a month to help families during the summer. But, says Major Lisa Mueller, Corps Officer of The Salvation Army,

“...the need is great, and having enough food to be able to allow people to come to us for groceries once a week would be an incredible blessing."

The goal for this distribution is to collect enough food to make it possible for their food shelf to open itself up to families in need once a week through the summer months when kids are home from school.
