Everything You Need To Know About 4th of July Events in Rochester
You don't have to sit around all day waiting for the fireworks; the City of Rochester has several free family-friendly activities planned for Independence Day.
The Salute to the 4th event is taking place at Silver Lake Park, near the Silver Lake Pool and includes:
- Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show – 3:00 – 5:30 p.m.
- Food Truck Festival – 3:00 – 11:45 p.m.
- Kids Camp – 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.
- Live Music – 3:30 – 11:45 p.m. - In addition to other live music and entertainment, Petty Fever, a Tom Petty tribute band will perform.
Rochester's fireworks will begin at approximately at 10:00 p.m and last about 30 minutes. They are launched from a location near Silver Lake Park.
Rochester's City Hall Domes will be lit up in red, white, and blue on the 4th.
