Did I Jinx Aaron Rodgers?

We've got a fantasy football league here at work. Every once in a while, I like to change things up and do some trading. Well, my Aaron Rodgers trade may have jinxed the Packers.I was the second pick in our draft, but I traded to get the first pick so I could get Aaron Rodgers. Not just because I'm a Packer fan, but also because the guy puts up good fantasy numbers. Well, about week 3, I decided to have a little fun and TRADE Aaron Rodgers for Andrew Luck and LaGarrette Blount. I thought, "What could go wrong? It's no big deal. It's just fantasy football."

Well, apparently I traded Aaron Rodgers to the biggest sports jinx in our building... perhaps the biggest sports jinx in Minnesota.

We'll call this jinx, Brent. (Because that's his name!) Here's just a couple examples of how he has jinxed teams:

• He picked Tom Brady up in the draft a few years ago the year after Brady threw a record 51 touchdowns. That next year, Brent gets the first pick in the draft and picks Brady who gets injured in the first quarter of the first game and he was out for the season.
• He bought a Kirby Puckett jersey and shortly thereafter, Puckett was diagnosed with glaucoma.

It gets worse. I think this jinx is very real. It's the exact reason Aaron Rodgers is doing so poorly. Check out some more players who were terrible after Brent "became a fan." The 'Madden Curse' and the 'Sports Illustrated Cover Curse' have nothing on this guy.
