La Crosse, WI (KROC AM News) - Dense fog formed across southeast Minnesota, northeast Iowa and southwest Wisconsin early Tuesday and could affect the morning commute.
The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory for the region that will be in effect through 10:00 am.
The NWS says the fog will reduce visibility to a quarter-mile or less in some areas. Roads and sidewalks may also become slippery due to the combination of the dense fog and sub-freezing temperatures.
If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
