Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Two people were injured this morning in a traffic crash that was triggered by a deer on the road just west of Rochester.

The State Patrol says 63-year-old Brian Rundquist of Rochester was driving west on Highway 14 when he braked to avoid striking a deer and his car was rear-ended by a car driven by a Byron woman. Officials reported Rundquist was not hurt, but 59-year-old Elizabeth Caradine and her passenger, 54-year-old Larry Gwynn of St. Cloud, were transported to St. Marys Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The crash was reported just before 11:45 AM near the intersection of Highway 14 and Olmsted County Road 104.
