Craig Robinson and Adam Scott FOX Comedy ‘Ghosted’ Gets Pilot Order
Adam Scott and Craig Robinson have enjoyed the odd TV guest spot on shows like The Good Place or Brooklyn Nine-Nine, but it’s about time the Parks and Recreation and Office alum got their own fulltime gigs. So it is, that FOX has given a pilot order to their X-Files-style comedy, Ghosted.
The single-camera comedy sees the two Mike Schur veterans and Hot Tub Time Machine 2 stars as a Mulder and Scully-type pair in Los Angeles. Now greenlit for an official pilot, Ghosted is written by That Awkward Moment scribe Tom Gormican and showrun by Workaholics producer Kevin Etten, while the full synopsis reads:
Ghosted is described as a comedic take on The X-Files and centers on a cynical, hilarious skeptic, Leroy Wright (Robinson), and a genius “true believer” in the paranormal, and Max Allison (Adam Scott), who are hired by the Underground Investigative Service to look into the rampant “unexplained” activity in L.A. — all while uncovering a larger mystery that could threaten the existence of the human race.
Both Robinson and Scott will also executive produce (in addition to Scott’s wife and producing partner Naomi Scott). We’ll likely hear of additional casting soon, so stay tuned for the latest.
