What’s Up with the Strange Hours at Chipotle in Rochester?

I've been hearing from a few people that the two Chipotles in Rochester, Minnesota have had some strange hours lately and no one really knows when they're actually open. I experienced these weird hours yesterday and here's what I've found.

My husband and I wanted Chipotle for dinner last night. We were going to order online but I said that we should go order in person since I had heard of some issues with online ordering. I've heard from a co-worker and listeners that they've ordered online from one of the two Chipotles in Rochester only to then go to the store to pick up the food and they aren't even open. Thank goodness I said to go in person because neither Chipotle locations were open when we went yesterday.

We didn't go at a super weird time, we were out around 7 PM. I'd say 7 would be a normal time for a place like Chipotle to still be open, plus on Google Maps it says they're open until 10 PM every day. Well, based on what I've heard, it seems like that hasn't been the case for a while now.

At each location, I went up to the door to see what was going on and found a paper with hours at each. At the south Chipotle location, the hours are now Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 10:45 AM - 4 PM. At the north Chipotle location, the hours are now Monday through Thursday 10:45 AM - 4 PM, and Friday Noon - 7 PM.

On top of Google Maps not having the correct hours, the official Chipotle website doesn't have hours that match the ones on the doors either.

But why are the hours like this and why hasn't this been updated online? It wasn't just my husband and I thinking that they were open yesterday. We were at the north Chipotle's parking lot for about 5 minutes and saw at least 5 cars pull up in front of Chipotle, look at the closed store very confused, and drive off.

I Tweeted at Chipotle yesterday to ask if this was only a Rochester, MN issue or if these limited hours were happening at other locations as well. I didn't get a response but I saw on the Minnesota Reddit page that people are having issues with hours being incorrect at Chipotle's in the Twin Cities as well.
