Cannon Falls Still Leads Goodhue County in COVID Cases
Cannon Falls still leads Goodhue County in the number of COVID-19 positives. The latest information from the Goodhue County Public Health Department shows there have been 138 total positive cases since January 20, 2020 as of Friday, July 10, 2020.
There were 17 active cases, 113 patients no longer needing isolation. 11 people had cases serious enough to require hospitalization. 5 were admitted to intensive care. 0 currently hospitalized. 8 Goodhue County residents have died from coronavirus.
Total number of tests administered 6,998 with 2.2% the positive rate.
Cannon Falls had 35% of the cases. Red Wing 24%, Kenyon 12%, Zumbrota 9%, Welch 6%, Goodhue and Pine Island 5% each, Wanamingo 3%, Dennison 1%.

Eagan has 356, Apple Valley 317, West St. Paul 295, Inver Grove Heights/Sunfish Lake 263, Lakville 252, South St. Paul 164, Rosemount 85, Farmington 65, Lillydale/Mendota/Mendota Heights 59, Hastings 54, Rural cities and townships 38.The top five cities for cases per 10,000:

The average age of individuals testing positive for the coronavirus in Dakota County is 37. 278 people have been hospitalized with the virus. 94 people in Dakota County have died with the average age of the deceased 83.
