A Cannon Falls man suffered what were reported to be non-life threatening injuries in a motorcycle crash on Highway 19 Thursday night in Goodhue County. The driver, 36-year-old Richard Sanders, was attempting to make a left hand turn when he lost control of the motorcycle. 

According to the State Patrol report, Sanders, who was riding a 2000 Yamaha motorcycle westbound on Highway 19 was attempting to make a left hand turn onto Oak Lane when he lost control of the bike.

The crash was reported at 8:37 P.M. Thursday night at milepost 193 in Cannon Falls Township.

Sanders was transported to St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester with what were described as non-life threatening injuries. It was reported by the state patrol that Sanders wasn't wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and that alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.

Responding to the scene of the crash along with the Minnesota State Patrol was the Cannon Falls Police Department, Goodhue County Sheriff's Office, and Cannon Falls Ambulance.
