Bring Me The Horizon certainly has their weird moments, but if lead singer Oli Sykes has his way, they plan on getting even weirder with their next album.

Recently, he told NME, "I think there’s an element of what we’re doing now that will stay in the music, but at the same time it’s like people thought ‘That’s the Spirit’ was a very polished pop rock album – it’s not. I think it’s inventive and unique, but it’s still safe in a way; we knew the songs we’re gonna connect well with people. Next time I think we wanna push it a bit weirder. Who knows?"

If I may make a few guesses here, something tells me they're planning a more dance-oriented route with their music.

Oli himself mentioned he'd like it be somewhere between Massive Attack and Prodigy.

Don't expect any major changes to the music anytime soon though, Oli also mentioned the band could use a break now that some of them are starting families of their own. They need "chill time" as he describes it.

Speaking of weird, apparently they've also had some weird fan experiences in Brazil involving an ambush.

What direction do you think Bring Me The Horizon should go?
